Makes me extremely nauseas!
This stuff makes me seriously nauseas! I add it to a bit of water, plug my nose, and take it like a shot so I don't taste anything and it goes down instantly. Regardless, as soon as it hits my stomach I am immediately nauseas. Like head-over-the-toilet-bowl gonna vomit profusely. I have tried consuming with food first and it makes no difference. This feeling fades within 10 minutes and then I am fine. However, it is BRUTAL.

Vitamin Shoppe Fish Oil
Best liquid fish oil, easy to swallow, I hate "fish", but this has no fishy taste, after taste or smell. Lemon is best flavor. Been using for years. Thanks.

decent product but packaging is too frustrating, look elsewhere
I liked this for a while but ignoring the defect in packaging which is so consistently bad, I'm giving up on this.

When you remove the cap, most of the time, the piece of plastic that should remain with the glass bottle comes out with the cap. I regularly need to use a set of pliers to pull this plastic pour aid out of the cap and put it back in the glass bottle.

This is unacceptable. Fix your packaging so I don't need to do this every time.

Good oil, bad online experience
I've been using this fish oil for years, usually purchasing it from the store, and like it. I bought my latest bottle from the website and it arrived rancid so I won't be buying it online again.

Bad after taste
I thought I bought the lemon fish oil as I always do..... however it was the citrus. I do not care for the citrus as it has an after taste that is tough to swallow.

Does anyone know the purity of Vitamin shoppe brand liquid fish oil (lemon flavor) ? I tried searching the web to see what I could find but found nothing. Was hoping for an IFOS rating but didn't find any. Called customer service for CofA, but didn't have it.

Best Answer:  Made in Norway. They have stricter laws associated with cleanliness of water so they have less mercury in their water. Less parts per billion means less gets into the fish that they use to make the product.
