Frequently Asked Questions

Why does raw plant protein matter?

Heat and processing can denature protein, reducing its availability to your body. Garden of Life’s plant proteins are produced at low temperatures to preserve their complete amino acid integrity and whole-food goodness.

What is a “complete” protein?

A complete protein is a protein that contains all nine essential amino acids: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. While most plant proteins are incomplete proteins, Raw Organic Fit plant-based protein provides all nine.

What is Svetol?

Svetol is a natural plant extract derived from unroasted Robusta coffee beans. Svetol has been shown to support blood sugar.

Customers review summary

The Raw Organic Fit protein powder appeals to customers seeking a plant based, nutrient dense meal replacement that supports weight loss and steady energy. Its high protein, fiber and vitamin content blends well into smoothies or with nut milk and helps curb cravings for hours. A few customers report a gritty or chalky texture when mixed with water, yet many still find it gentle on digestion and effective at suppressing hunger.

Favorite Shakes by far
These are my favorite protein shakes. The flavors are good, they dissolve pretty smoothly and they seem to do all they claim. I have been using them for the last 3 years. Definitely one the best on the market for females too.

Garden of Life FIT powder is the CREAM OF THE CROP
Garden of Life Fit powder is far & away the best shake mix you can get. It tastes great and is the most nutrient-dense shake in the "real food" category. The only drawback is that it's a little bit grainy/gritty when you drink it. Small price to pay for the value it has.

Best protein powder I've tried
I have been using this for 2 weeks and I have lost 3 lbs. I do intermittent fasting and stick to a low carb diet as well. This protein powder keeps me fuller longer more than any other I've tried. It is chock full of other vitamins also. I love that it has a higher protein amount than most powders ive tried with minimal calories. The taste isn't the best, but not the worst, but tastes really rich and smooth in extra creamy oat milk. I don't usually care if something doesnt taste exceptional, though, as long as it is working I'll continue to purchase.

should i have one or two shakes per day?
michelle

One a day is good. If you drink 2 per day and have a nutritious meal ( for the 3rd meal), you will likely loose weight. I was able to loose 40 pounds, over 6 or 8 months.

Betty J

2 per day; Morning and before bed. Have a light dinner with Fish, Bison, or Lamb. And cut out the Dairy, Sugary or Salty Deserts. In the past 3 months, I've dropped 13% body fat, 16 lbs, no muscle loss, 4 inches from my waistline, plus my vitals have improved.

Anthony

I only have one but I don’t know if having two would be too much (given that there is A LOT of vitamins etc) or would be harmful to your health. I would follow up asking a person in the medical or fitness field!:)

Valerie B

Yes, usually, I have Twice a day One shake in the morning 8:am and one at night at 5pm. Have a heavy Lunch.

ROSEMARY

  Yes...It's delicious!!

    What is micellar casein protein?

Micellar casein is a milk protein that is digested more slowly than other proteins, providing an extended release of muscle-building amino acids that help prevent catabolism.

    What is catabolism?

Catabolism is the breakdown of protein. When your body goes for extended periods without food, or when it’s under significant metabolic stress during exercise, it can resort to catabolizing your muscles for energy.
