      Energy back. Nuff said!
      I struggle with unexplained fatigue. I'm postmenopausal, have seasonal allergies, don't sleep that great, all of these excuses I use to justify my freaking fatigue go out the window after taking this product. I am back to my "old" self, again. the amount and quality of my sleep doesn't matter now, I haver egained the energy and the drive to take on projects that I shelved 2 years ago. All I can say is this is a quality Rhodiola product! For sure!

      This is the best of the Rhodiola products
      Folks, I've been taking Rhodiola for a little more than a year now, and during that time have tried over a half-dozen products from various brands. A few worked OK, but only the Solaray "Super Rhodiola" worked to a very noticeable degree. Which makes sense because, first, they include a full 500mg. The therapeutic dose-range for a standardized Rhodiola extract is between 340-600mg/day, and I've found 500mg/day is the "sweet spot" for me.

      Second, MANY supplement companies don't fare too well when their products are subjected to independent, third-party lab tests. In fact, it's actually quite shocking how many supplements DON'T contain the potency and/or active ingredients they claim. But products from Solaray seem to be an exception. ConsumerLab (the largest independent supplement testing company in America) has tested many Solaray products - including Rhodiola - over the last few years, and without exception Solaray is one of the very few brands whose products consistently pass ConsumerLab's tests for purity and potency. (BTW, the "Nature's Way", "Jarrow", "PLNT by V" [The Vitamin Shoppe's own brand] and "Life Extension" brands generally do pretty well in those tests too. But many other brands are VERY spotty and inconsistent. Including some well-known brands. Do your research, and don't just assume that a high price or well-known brand name necessarily means the product is good.)

      So yeah, I highly recommend Solaray "Super Rhodiola". It does wonders! Just one word of caution however. I'm 6'0 and 180lbs. My wife is 5'3 and 120lbs, and she actually found this product over-stimulating. So if you're of a smaller stature, you might want to first try a product with a smaller dose. Solaray also makes a Rhodiola product with 300mg of Rhodiola and 200mg of Schizandra. If you weigh less than 130lbs or so, that one might be better for you.

      Best Answer:  Hi Joni,

      I have used this product for several years and find it works best if I take it upon waking on an empty stomach. Yes it does help with anxiety and no I have personally not experienced any side effects other than a calmness. It will probably take about two weeks before you start to feel the effects however.
