Calcium provides the building blocks that help keep bones and teeth strong and healthy. It also supports the health of the colon, heart, musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Magnesium helps to regulate calcium transport and stimulates the secretion of calcitonin, a hormone that aids in the influx of calcium into bone.
Magnesium also works with ATP to produce the energy needed for most reactions in the body. It plays an important role in protein formation and healthy muscle function.
Vitamin D is required to promote calcium absorption, which helps to maintain healthy bones and teeth. Vitamin D also supports a healthy immune system and the health of various tissues inlcluding breast, colon and prostate tissue. It may support muscle strength in older adults. This formulation provides Calcium, Magnesium and natural Vitamin D3 in a delicious and easy to absorb liquid form for daily supplementation.

Directions

Very satisfied with this product.....noticed immediate satisfaction in taking liquid vs. capsules.......
PCP recommended.....I prefe these liquid vitamins vs. capsules/pills .....so much easier to take......calcium/magnesium/Vitamin D3 combination......also good for bone strength, kidney and intestinal health......

Yummy liquid vites!
Delicious! Recent purchaser of this liquid calcium after deciding my body cannot break down another vitamin pill. Trying all 3 flavors at the same time...rotating. They're all good but I think the blueberry is the best. No adverse side effects. Enjoying the taste. You've gotta pour it in a small cup. Tried just pouring onto a spoon...gonna waste a lot... spilling and dripping down the side of the bottle. The spout isn't spoon friendly. 15ml line on a small liquid med cup will do it! Use a Vitamin Shoppe coupon for a more reasonable price. Enjoy!

Sometimes capsules can be a bit rough on my throat, so this form of calcium definitely fills the bill in those instances. The consistency is a bit thick but not chalky, and the flavor has a nice tang to it - tastes like real blueberry, too. So glad to have found this - worth every penny!

Liquid Calcium = Yum
Having tried liquid calcium over 20 years ago, I thought not bad! But pricey. I decided to give it another try this year, and I'm glad I did! The Solgar Liquid Calcium is like drinking a berry smoothie in the morning! As expected, there is just a very slight grainy texture, but it sure beats taking 4 calcium capsules or giant tabs every day! And the added benefit of magnesium and D3. I'm hooked in a good way!!

Works for cramps
Flavor tastes like yogurt and is not unpleasant. I started taking for cramping and it works fast. No cramps in any part of my body for the duration of the bottle. Highly recommend.

My Go-To
My Favorite Calcium/Magnesium supplement. It's not a big huge pill like most are, and it's also the citrate versions which apparently more easily absorbed. The taste is like a tablespoon of yogurt per day, which is delicious in every flavor (I've tried them all) and it's not super expensive. When it gets down to the last little bit I like to put a little water in it and shake it up real good to wash out all of the product. This is a habit forming item, which I've formed the habit, so I will continue to take it indefinitely. Good brand with great packaging.

Best Answer:  My husband takes it everyday. It does not work as a laxative for him. I cannot take it as it does work as a laxative for me. I use a gummy calcium. However, liquid calcium is absorbed better than a solid. I can take the liquid every other day without a laxative side effect, but I need more than that so I just use the gummies and my husband uses the liquid with no side effects.

The Solgar magnesium says on the label that it is highly soluble...is this liquid the same?
Is there a maximum amount of magnesium that one should take maybe 400- 600...how can you know?

Best Answer:  what I do is put a teaspoon of it in w/my other liquid vitamins & then I put a little juice & mixed it up & drank it-it is very soluable & the taste is fine. hope this helps.
