About This Product

Calcium provides the building blocks that help keep bones and teeth strong and healthy. It also supports the health of the colon, heart, musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Magnesium helps to regulate calcium transport and stimulates the secretion of calcitonin, a hormone that aids in the influx of calcium into bone.
Magnesium also works with ATP to produce the energy needed for most reactions in the body. It plays an important role in protein formation and healthy muscle function.
Vitamin D is required to promote calcium absorption, which helps to maintain healthy bones and teeth. Vitamin D also supports a healthy immune system and the health of various tissues inlcluding breast, colon and prostate tissue. It may support muscle strength in older adults. This formulation provides Calcium, Magnesium and natural Vitamin D3 in a delicious and easy to absorb liquid form for daily supplementation.

  • When combined with a healthy diet and physical activity, calcium may reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

Directions

Shake well before use. As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) tablespoon (0.5 fl. Oz)(15 ml) daily, with a meal, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Best Answer:  Yes but not necessary. It tastes good by itself.

The bottle I bought says to take ONE tablespoon a day, not two. Is it ok to take two?

Best Answer:  I don't see why not but you may want to check with your doctor first in the event you are taking any other supplemets that have calcium/mag/D3 in it or medications that may interfere with the absorption.

I take this liquid calcium with magnesium and d. This exact brand. I now need to take biotin. Can that be taken at the same time?? DO I have to wait a few hours in between??

Best Answer:  The only thing I know about absorption of the supplement is that magnesium needs calcium and vitamin C for the best absorption in our body. I've only read that raw egg whites destroy biotin. I've always taken my B vitamins (including biotin) at the same time as the magnesium and do not recall from my nutrition classes that you have to wait. The tricky part is that our vitamins, etc do absorb better when taken with other certain nutrients (e.g. Iron is absorbed with protein and vitamin C). It really is pretty complicated so I just try to not take in too much of any supplement so that I am accounting for the nutrients I get from food. If a doctor prescribed biotin for you then he or she should tell you if you have to wait.
