Vitamin Shoppe doesn't care
See my Sep 6, 2023 review found with the 300 quantity of this product. The website label and description is incorrect. It is an old outdated label (serving size says 2 capsules but is actually 3 capsules) At first I thought the label was a simple human error, but after talking to customer service multiple times and writing to customer service via email, the Vitamin Shoppe has still not corrected the inaccuracy. Customers are getting 1/3 less potency than website states. No excuse for this! I now call this fraudulent rather than human error.

Shoppers Should Know (VS-1086)
I have purchased this many times in the past and have been pleased. Label has always indicated that the Serving Size is 2 Capsules. Then it became unavailable for quite some time. Now that is available again, I recently purchased it and notice the label indicates that a serving size is 3 Capsules. If I had continued taking it as before without reviewing the label (I just happened to do so this time) I would unknowingly be getting less calcium than I need. In addition, the web site still states that a serving size is 2 Capsules. I am going to return these to Vitamin Shoppe since I would have to take more capsules than I took previously.
I recommend the older version of the product.

Do you want long fingernails?
I know a calcium supplement is good when my fingernails grow and don't break. I've been having to trim them since I started this supplement. Good stuff!

Good product
No stomach issues while taking this, whatsoever, and I have a sensitive stomach. Perhaps the other reviewer was having a combination side effect when taking this with other meds or supplements. Good value but the 300 and 600 caps arebetter values.

Calcium Citrate
Too many pills to take to achieve goal makes this a very expensive form of calcium. My stomach does not tolerate these at all and I only used for a few days at a lower dosage and that did not help. Will not reorder and I have the better part of the open bottle unused plus the unopened bottle. Very dissatisfied with this particular product.

This is the best combination I have used
I read that it is important to take 100% calcium with 50% magnesium and about 100 i.u. of Vitamin D3 to maximize your calcium absorption and this is the most effective combination I have used.
