Best Answer:  I have read that as you age the bodies ability to manufacture COQ10 starts to diminish and the best way to supplement this lack is with Ubiquinol. I'm 72 and take one every day after lunch. It also helps the immune system's ability to fight off infections, so when I feel something coming on, I take the 100 mgs, otherwise, I take 50mgs. Good luck.

I have tried active (100mg) and inactive (300mg) CoQ10 and both times developed a rash by my ankles and a slight cough (These 2 of the many reactions typically produced with this product). Has anyone had these reactions with the 50mg? Thanks

Best Answer:  I have not had a rash with 50mg. but did experience headaches. I currently use 30 mg twice daily without side effects. Thanks and good health to you.
