Perfect What What They Do For Health
So far we are very pleased. We take ours about mid way through our lunch time meal. We experience no odd orders, strange tastes, or reflux. We would recommend these to anyone. Keep in mind that most fatty oil pills will give you side effects if you take them on an empty stomach that is why we take our halfway through our lunch time meal.

So you're supposed to take this before meals. When I do, I burp fish, which I didn't notice with a prior, different brand.

I want to know why all these supplements say they are so good but they are not evaluated by the food and drug administration? doesn't make sense at all.

Best Answer:  The Vitamin Shoppe is very diligent about testing each lot of all of our raw materials for identity, purity, strength, composition, and contaminants before they can be used in the manufacturing of a Vitamin Shoppe brand supplement. Our finished products undergo microbiological analysis, heavy metal testing, and where applicable pesticide testing using the most current methods established by the Association of Analytical Communities (AOAC). Where internationally recognized standards set forth by the AOAC are not available, we utilize United States Pharmacopeia (USP) methods or methods validated internally by our manufacturers. Finished products are also tested at random by FDA audited, independent third-party laboratories to ensure that label claims are being met. Our manufacturers adhere to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and perform quality control checks throughout the entire manufacturing process. Manufacturers are inspected by our QC/GMP Auditor, which includes a thorough review of all the operations of each department in the manufacturing facility as well as the written standard operating procedure to assure that they comply with FDA regulations.
