The product states it is low carb, but in the nutritional guide there is clearly tons of carbs. I don't believe it is low carb. What is your take on this?

I'm confused. The description says that this product contains NO GLUTEN, but the list of ingredients includes WHEAT GRASS JUICE! So, which is it--gluten free or not gluten free? I guess that is the question.

Best Answer:  Gluten is a protein found in the grain (seeds) of many grasses. Wheat grass is the leafy portion of the plant - it actually looks like a blade of grass. There is no gluten in the leafy parts of the plants, only in the seeds. Most wheat grass juice is harvested between 7 and 10 days after germination – long before the plant has a chance to seed. Since only the leafy portion of the plant is ‘juiced’, you don’t have to worry about gluten.

The product info says that this does not contain...added sugars, filler ingredients, sweeteners or preservatives. However, the supplement facts tabs says that the ingredients include Organic Stevia Extract (leaf). Please clarify the ingredients as stevia is a sweetener?

Best Answer:  That is an excellent question and I looked at Garden of Life website and your correct it says, no added sugars or sweeteners and yet there is Stevia in it. I will contact them and tell them of this contradiction in their product description.

Is this a good meal replacement if I am going on a detox? I am looking to a cleanse but some nights i work really late and taking all the equipment necessary to make my juice or smoothie is impractical.

Best Answer:  Absolutely. This is a an amazing all around organic meal. Mix this with almond milk..... Take it 3-6 times a day. Figure out the calorie count /amount to maintain a healthy weight level. Doing just that would make you one of the healthiest eaters on this planet. You'll feel amazing as well!! Although, I would also suggest eating fresh veggies and fruits. Organic (controversial) is best but don't really worry about that now. Make sure to ease into taking the raw life. Don't be afraid if things in the bathroom are a bit off for a week or so ;)

Just give it a go for a month!

You'll be stunned at how you feel :) :)

Can this be mixed with fruits and almond milk as a shake?

Best Answer:  Good afternoon, I have been using this product for One and a half years. The only time I have mixed it without Almond milk is one day I ran out of almond milk. So I mixed it with water.
I love this product and the way it makes me feel. I work 12 - 14 hour days, I need a lot of protein, and nutrients, it does a fantastic job. I've tried a lot of projects over the years, none seem to compare to this product. Hope this helps, Mike

Best Answer:  You may go directly to mfg and ask for samples. I have tried all 3 flavors, rank them Choc, Vanilla then Original if that helps any. My favorite is a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of vanilla together in almond milk.

At present I'm on holiday so I cannot answer for sure. But I will check when I get home (next week), and let you know if it contains Soy.
At that stage I had such health concerns, my immediate answer is "No., only Golden Pea flour."
If that is INCORRECT, I'll contact you.
