tiny tablet
Having 1 mg tablets provides you the option to take more, if I have additional trouble sleeping. I've read that 1 mg is better than larger sized pills. I take this with 2 L-theanine for sleep. It works.

Fantastic product
We use both the 1 mg and 5 mg strength Melatonin. We take one tablet before bed. We take the 5 mg if we need an undisturbed, deep sleep. We also love that neither product contains soy or wheat, and is gluten and nut-free. And, as a bonus, Melatonin is an antioxidant.

Low dose melatonin works best for me
I recommend the lowest dose of melatonin possible ti help you fall asleep 1 hr before bedtime because too high a dose makes me wake up early and feel groggy

Dosage can be tailored to need
Highly bio-available (works within 20 minutes), and because the dose is so low, I can choose to use 1, 2 or 3 depending on how awake I still am. I love that tailorability!

1 mg hard to find
Tiny pills that are easy to take and a low dose within the range of doctor recommendations. I'm very happy with these. Instead of having to cut pills down, I can now take 1 or 2 if needed.
My only complaint is the size of the bottle. You could fit 4-5 times as many pills in the bottle, so it is a waste of materials.

Best Answer:  If you have a pill cutter it could be, but why? This is such a low dose and if you need less than 1mg why not just buy a lesser dose?
