My go-to iron supplement
My go to Iron supplement. I love the boost of energy I get when I take these. I notice the difference through out my day.

Best iron supplement I've tried
I started taking this supplement at 43 years old, but I didn't think much of it. I stopped taking it for a few months and when I started taking it again I realized I had more energy, I didn't crave sugary drinks, my skin looked better. But I stopped taking them again. Now at 46 I started taking them again and I noticed a big difference in only ten days. My skin is glowing, I don't crave soda, I don't put things off for "later" I'm a lot more active. I feel really good, my mood is better. My eyes don't feel dry anymore. And as a bonus I noticed my hair is getting dark again, I had a crazy amount of gray hair. I recommend this supplement to everyone that will listen lol

HELPED WITH SEVERE ANEMIA
I bought these for my father who had very severe anemia due to GI bleeding. It worked better than regular iron pills. Highly recommend. The combination of vitamins will help improve your iron levels faster than just regular iron. He was taking regular iron that I bought at walmart and those did not help. These pills from HEMA-PLEX DID help.

WORK FOR SEVERE ANEMIA
If you have anemia PLEASE READ
This product is effective and fast for low iron.
It worked within a day. Symptoms started to reduce right away.
Taking 2 a day for VERY severe anemia. Follow directions on package but in this case needed to take one in the morning one at night.

Does anyone know why Hema-Plex contains calcium, when it seems like everyone says that calcium inhibits iron absorption? Is that amount of calcium low enough that it doesn't have that effect?

Best Answer:  Good question. I do know that you are not supposed to take calcium with iron supplements. I have been taking Hema-Plex for about a year now and my Ferritin, RBC and Hematocrit levels have improved tremendously. Although the amount of iron in one pill is high, I have not had any stomach issues. The calcium level may be too low to make any different. This would be a good question for the manufacturer.

Can I take my Hema-plex gels at the same time that I eat or supplement with calcium? I see that they have some calcium in them, but I've been told that you can't take iron with calcium. Is it better to take them with meals or separately?
