Best Answer:  If taken as directed the only side effect I noticed is if you have a serious cut it will affect the clotting of blood to stop the bleeding. It is somewhat of a blood thinner. However, that is the purpose for me in taking it as I take it in conjunction with calcium to aid in the proper absorption of calcium in my system.

How does this product not contain soy? I though that Vitamin K2 was made from natto, which is made from soybeans.

Best Answer:  The product info on this Vitamin Shoppe site for this item, regardless of the label for the Solgar VitaminK2, does state that there is no soy. Your information contradicts the product label information posted for your customers to read.

The product details say that it's soy free, however on the bottle it says it's derived from NATTO?

Best Answer:  My understanding of this statement is that this MK-7 (Vitamin K2)is derived from natto extract but is pure MK-7 and therefore soy is not present as a contaminant. I believe that MK-7 derived from natto is considered to be the safest form of MK-7.
