I do not absorb regular B-12
I need Methyl B-12, I have a methylation processing error in my system, not uncommon, 45% of the worlds population can genetically fall prey to it, if subjected to toxins and too much stress etc

Why did they change this??
I have been taking the old version of this for years, wish they had kept them the same. This bottle tastes awful. Hard to keep it in your mouth with this flavor.

Tastes Different, But Works
I've been taking these for almost two years. They've brought up my B12 levels from low level into acceptable range. I went from feeling horrible to feeling pretty good. I have no adverse effects. However, since Vitamin Shoppe has redone the packaging, they don't taste as good; they have a sort of plastic taste. Not sure if formula was changed, or what. They do dissolve...eventually.

Doesn't dissolve
Not sure how this is working for me because 2 "lozenges" in and I think this is a chore to take. The instructions say to dissolve the tablet but only the smooth coating comes off, and that takes effort too. I end up having to chew the thing, so I know a lot of it ends up on my teeth. I got these straight from the store (in store pickup was alright) so they haven't been exposed to any extreme temps or moisture or anything. Looking for another product to do the job now.

No, just no
Sorry. But every time I take these I get a clutching/squeezing/tightness in the center of my chest. I went back and looked. One tablet is 666% of the daily recommended value. I stopped taking them and felt better. I tried again the other day, taking just a quarter tablet. The chest pains returned. Can't do these again!

Best Answer:  It can if low B12 is the source of your lethargy. Several things can cause it and not all are improved with more b12

Does this product contain MSG? I am very sensitive and normally anything that says "natural flavors" (like the "natural cherry flavor" in this product)sets me off.

Best Answer:  The 2 aren't necessarily linked. The likelihood is that it is, but if you need to be sure, buy 1 that specifically states gluten free on the bottle.

Best Answer:  I have not heard of that as a problem with B12 methylcobalamin. My husband and son have taken it for years with no problems. You should probably stop taking it and talk to your physician.
