Change it back to GREEN please!! If you want to protect it from light, try a black bottle with a coating that reflects over it or something.

Great results
I sleep better. Even anxiety seems to be balanced. Little No night sweats. I used regular DIM and decried to give DIM Plus a try- but disappointed. I actually think I prefer this product.

For men over 40 experiencing estrogen dominance!
Trust me when I say DIM is one of the single most tangibly beneficial supplements a man over 40 can take, and will feel the difference with. I don't normally write reviews about supplements and there are so many that just don't seem to do anything. I'm 43 and for several years I would get so sleepy in the afternoon that half my day was essentially ruined. I changed eating and sleeping habits, etc. and the issue remained like clockwork. I started reading about estrogen dominance (and you should too). As it turns out estrogen dominance is not that unusual in men my age. One of the manifestations is/was daytime sleepiness/ grogginess. There are others. In any case, the first week with DIM is rough but predictable according to any and all sources you read about DIM and how it works - neon yellow urine, chronic mild headache and a pervasive fatigue. I experienced all three. At the end of the first week, these symptoms disappear and you, all of the sudden, "wake up", feel normal and feel an increased sense of general well-being! It's a big big deal!

Try it, there's really nothing to lose, you just have to make it through the first week which isn't all that bad since you kind of know what to expect.

Formula change? No longer works!
I have used this product for months now, with significantly reduced hot flashes. With my last order, the color of the capsule changed from green to white and it no longer works! The company claims they had to change the cover of the capsule to protect the ingredients from light. I think the change affects the absorptiof of the DIM (which is key to effectiveness). I will no longer use this!

Helps fight acne and estrogen dominance
I used this product to help with estrogen dominance issues, mainly to reduce heavy monthly bleeding and breast cysts. I have been researching the causes of both conditions and have read a number of books by Dr. John Lee, MD on the topic. I developed other health related conditions as a result of heavy bleeding including low ferritin iron stores in my blood. I learned that xeno-estrogens or synthetic estrogens from plastic water bottles, birth control pills, pesticides and so forth, were most likely to blame for my health issues. I learned that Diindolylmethane (DIM) helps the liver to convert and detoxify excess estrogens. I also have been using Source Natural's progesterone cream from the Vitamin Shoppe to balance my estrogen levels as well as taking chewable Nature's Plus Iron supplements also purchased from the Vitamin Shoppe. My iron ferritin levels have gone up 50% since last year and after only two months of DIM supplements along with progesterone cream my bleeding has been reduced by 66%!!

After 10 days of using DIM supplements and progesterone my energy levels greatly improved by about 70%!! I sleep much better and seldom have night sweats any more. I will continue to take both supplements for at least another few months to see if my energy levels will continue to rise. I am extremely pleased with the DIM supplements sold from the Vitamin Shoppe. Also one side note, DIM supplements may cause orange or brown urine shortly after use as excess estrogen is being excreted from the body. I have read that this is normal according to medical doctors. Also my teenage son's acne greatly improved by about 80% while taking DIM supplements from the Vitamin Shoppe.

It works!
I was using flax seed to help with hot flashes, but when I started taking this supplement, the night sweats disappeared, and the hot flashes are virtually GONE! I feel like my old self, again!

I Can't Be Without This Product
Since starting on this product, I no longer have fibrocystic breasts which has been a problem for me for over 20 years. I no longer have breast tenderness. My PMS symptoms have gotten way better. I now sleep all through the night and deeply. I no longer breakout. My skin is looking plump again. I no longer have the few "whisker" type hairs on my chin. When I would lay down on my back and feel my abdomen, I could feel my fibroids; now I feel nothing!! The melasma that I've battled for over 20 years looks lighter and is starting to break up. I am truly amazed by this product. It has been a miracle worker for me. I wish I had this product twenty years ago. I can never be without it!!!

Best Answer:  I don't know of any. This supplement naturally reduces inflammation in the body as well as supplies your hormones with nutrients to help balance them. I don't believe it increases or decreases any of the hormones in your body. But if you have too much estrogen in your body, it will give your body nutrients to help correct that imbalance.

Im a middle aged male who is making a comeback in the iron game and will be using anabolic supplements to enhance my progress, and more importantly give me energy by increasing my red blood cells. The muscles are important but at my age that vitality of my youth is priority. I have had chronic fatigue syndrom for 15 yrs they cant diagnose thru dozens of blood tests, so im going to do it myself on my own and take command of my future. Enough depending on doctors who are afraid to speak out for fear of lawsuits! But I dont want to get the side effects that sometimes occur with anabolic supplements like gyno, testicular atrophy, or any of the more dangerous things too much estrogen in the body of a male can bring. Anyone with knowlege or experience can offer some advice? I heard from a body builder that this product combined with DHEA and DIM... WILL DO WONDERS FOR THE BODYBUILDER WHO CHOOSES TO PUT "Anabolics" INTO HIS BODY TO TAKE HIM TO HIS MAX POTENTIAL.

First, let me recommend "The Testosterone Syndrome" by Dr. Shippen. This short book will become an important part of your reference library. Regarding DHEAs, you will find that yes, they help with the hormone replacement process--unless--you have an overabundance, as most of us middle-aged men do of enzymes that convert DHEAs and Testosterone into unwanted Estrogens. Enter DIM, which stops this unhealthy conversion.

Regarding your Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: As this is a syndrome, it can have several causes, incl. candidiasis, EBV, HBLV, CMV, food allergies and hypoglycemia. The first thing I would do is investigate candida and food allergies. A good naturopath can be of help. A short list of treatments can be found in Joel Wallach's "Let's Play Doctor", and since you are taking control of your own health, you'll want to read, "Healing is Voltage" by Jerry Tennant.

Best Answer:  I would think is safe, but would not be likely to affect atypical hyperplasia. I wouldn't there would be any benefit for your moods or bloating either. The expected benefit from DIM-plus is to help block the conversion of testosterone into estrogen.
