Flavor profile
I have only been using this for a few days, so I can't comment on how it makes me feel, there are plenty of reviews for that. However I can talk about the flavor. There are several reviews where people complain about the flavor of this and how it tastes awful. If one was to take the drops straight up, you will get a raisin flavor along with bitterness. If you mix it in with herbal tea, you won't really taste it at all since it blends in with tea flavor. I have not mixed it with just water but I can assume it will taste like tea. Don't let people's juvenile taste buds stear you away from trying things that will help keep you healthy.

As of right now, I am not sure if this supplement does what it claims (immune support); It is too soon to say. However, compared to other olive leaf tinctures that I have had, this is the better tasting one. It tastes like unsweetened tea. I will be purchasing again if it does what it claims as well as taste good.

I will not purchase this product in liquid form again
I definitely do not like this. I prefer the pills. I would only recommend it in the event the next person would prefer it to the capsules. I definitely do not like the taste and the idea of have to measure out ounces of water to prepare it

Worked on strep throat and sinus infection
I started this at first signs of strep throat with sinus infection using 15 drops every 4 hours... symptoms cleared within 4 days and continued to take one daily dose for the remainder of 11 days period and feeling great. No antibiotics needed! For the benefits, the taste was not an issue at all.

Will this help with shingles & how much oleuropein is in it?

Best Answer:  Well I don't think so because I take it everyday, and I came down with shingles last month. The good thing is maybe it did help, because I had a very mild case and they only lasted a little over a week. I take it for my immune system, and I can attest to that I have not had any colds or the flu since I started taking it over 3 years ago. And all I can tell you is that on the bottle it says Organic olive leaf extract 1000 mg and under that it says (1:1) Oleo europaea.

Best Answer:  You can take it a few times a day with no problem. In my experience its been pretty safe. I bought it to use as ear drops for an ear infection so it wasn't useful for my particular problem but I take it in capsule form all the time and it works wonders. I use the vitamin shoppe brand. I'm not sure what you're using it for but its great for inflammation and infection. It helped me a lot. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I HAVE CFS ( chronic fatigue syndrome ) ... after browsing the Internet ... no known treatment. The only
suggestion found in two searches is the use of OLIVE LEAFT EXTRACT. Does the Vitamin Shoppe have any information on the use of this EXTRACT with CFS ?

Best Answer:  Diet would be the most important thing to address.
Check out the Doug Kaufmann's Phase One Diet and watch some of the videos and read some of the articles.
CFS is a systematic fungal problem.
Olive Leaf Extract, along with Oregano Oil, Tumeric, Garlic and Ginger would be an excellent start with supplements.
I would also suggest you take a probiotic twice a day on an empty stomach.
