Directions

Take one (1) capsule daily, preferably in between meals.

My honest review

It's ok, it's better take at night due to the sleepy effect it gives off. If u take in the morning you may feel very tired throughout the day. It can cause headaches. I started off with 100mg I recommend starting with 50mg for beginners. Haven't really seen improvement yet. But it's good for nigh time if u have trouble sleeping

Major ACNE BREAKOUT!

This made my face breakout like crazy. I believe that the 1176% daily value of vitamin B6 is the culprit.

Feel good be happy

This is a must to deal with stress make you feel happy and help you go to sleep at night. I also like to take it with my coffee in the morning with some extra taurine.

Not for people prone to acne due to b6

Been taking it for a few months. Was helping my mood. But my face has been breaking out for the same duration. I tried looking at everything as to why and just noticed today the absurd amount of b6 in this. Since im not choosing between mood and acne, which brings my mood down anyway, my half full bottle and new bottle are going to be trashed

Same benefits as other brands

I was a little reluctant to try the Vitamin Shoppes 5-HTP w/ Vit B6 after using more expensive brands. But I did and now I purchase it exclusively, saving money when Vit Shoppe Brands are on sale and with my reward points!

Best Answer: It helps to regulate and support moods. The lows are not as low and the highs still feel great. It can control appetite because it regulates your moods. NOT like a narcotic! Definitely recommend. It is the one supplement I do not skip.

How/when do you take this for insomnia? Does it affect your weight?

Best Answer: I take it at night before bed (try one hour before or right at bedtime and then whatever works stick with the same time taking it and going to bed each night to get in a routine). No it does not normally affect weight. If you struggle with weight gain, and have low serotonin levels, it should help you lose it over time by establishing proper serotonin levels-and getting proper rest of course will help too.
