Way overpriced now!
3 or even 2 years ago I was able to get this calcium supplement at the Vitamin Shoppe for $7.99 for 100 liquid gels which may have been on sale but the normal price was nowhere near the over inlated price VS is charging now!! Due to the dubious ingredients of titanium dioxide which is used in cheap prmaceuticals (like tylenol etc.) and soybean oil (probably GMO) and rather large capsules and being way overpriced I do not reccomend this product!!

Low dose
The serving size is 4 softgels, and it doesn't even reach the daily value in total. Not worth it unless you want a low dose.

Read the label closely!!
Vitamin Shoppe needs to review how they label their products. It is misleading to label something "Calcium 1000" when the actual milligram strength per capsule is 250 mg. The product itself is fine, the quality seems good, but since I already take numerous supplements per day I am not interested in taking 4 calcium capsules instead of 1! I gave this a 3 to be generous...I definitely won't be buying this again.

Best Answer:  Calcium is as necessary at D3, natural A and natural E combined, as they compliment each other during digestion.
We do NOT get vitamins and minerals from our foods as much as 30 years ago. so we need to supplement.
