These are not validated
I read more on Melatonin substitutes for the hormone our bodies make. These do not offer the proper validation so I dumped mine in an empty cheez it box. I think eating the Cheez Its made me sleepier

Helps me get to sleep on EAST Coast AMs

Not for me
It’s not for me, after taking a tablet I feel dizzy but couldn’t sleep, wake up tied in the morning

Is this the slow release form as opposed to the quick release? I need the form to help me stay asleep.

Best Answer:  I think you're asking about "timed release". The lable will tell you if it is. You can also find the information under the Supplement Facts tab. Otherwise, you can assume it is the one that immediately releases the product into your system.

Is this a safe method for sleep? Any side effects?

Best Answer:  My doc says there are no side effects unless one takes too much, then you can be groggy in the morning. The older we get, the less melatonin our body produces, so older people take a higher dose. For me at 67, I take a 10 mg. regular tablet and a 5mg. sustained release tablet right before I lie down. Works great, and I awake refreshed at my regular time.
