  This is a natural homeopathic medicine. No fetal tissue involved.

  I don't know the source...there are plant sources. I can tell you that because this is "homeopathic" it has been diluted roughly 3000 times (one part ingredient to 10 parts water, one part of that water to ten parts water, repeated many times) so that means this is more of a fancy placebo, with maybe a few molecules of whatever ingredient that have in it in there somewhere.

In other words, don't bother to buy it unless you believe that water retains the "imprint" of the original ingredient, as the homeopaths do.

I would be returning it, but not worth the price of shipping.

  By the way, homeopathic medicine uses Latin names for everything including salt, to make it seem more legitimate, so if you look at the ingredient list, and google each phrase, it will tell you the proper English name for the thing.

Thyroid supplement usually comes from adult swine (pigs, but this one is from plant sources. Fetal tissue would not have any thyroid at all, as that does not develop until later in all mammals.

  If you want an answer then look at the ingredients on the box.

  I started noticing positive effects within a few days. I found that three tablets a day was too much for me. One to two a day works well, and my TSH is right in the middle of the normal range now.

  Hyper- means "more than is considered normal".
Hypo- means "less".
Make sure you know which condition you have.
This product is for low thyroid function.
The package says:
"Providing gladular support for the symptoms of:
- Low Energy
- Low Metabolism
- Cold Hands & Feet
- Melancholy
- Restlessness"
This product is intended to help a low-functioning (hypo-) thyroid to function at its normal level.
If you have an already over-functioning thyroid, this product might make such hyper-thyroid even more hyper.

  This product would not probably be helpful for hyperthyroid. Homeopathic medicines are usually formulated based on symptoms. If you have the symptoms listed on the front of the box, then it would likely be helpful; if not, then it would likely not be helpful.

  I’m not sure, Jennifer! My symptoms mostly fit hypothyroid picture. For which this homeopathy seems to be quite helpful. Nevertheless, I believe that this homeopathy is able to fix or balance both conditions. At least, you can try!

  This is a good product...I am a.sixty year old woman and I have always had a low thyroid and struggled with weight and cold hands and feet. When I started to lose my hair, that was the last straw! I have been taking the thyroid

No there are no side effects. And stop using any product with fluoride or drinking water that has fluoride in it...it wreaks havoc with the thyroid function, although no doctor will admit that (or even knows).

I have used this product for a couple of months now and have no side effects...however it has not helped with the symptoms I have of weight gain (in spite of balanced diet and daily workouts), extreme fatigue and foggy head. I had a blood test before using this product and my thyroid was on the low end of normal...haven't had another test following the use of this product. I would suggest getting a blood test to see if maybe you have low thyroid or possibly something else like hormonal imbalance.

  I have experienced no side effects. I have more energy and am not so tired since I started using this product. I have not lost any weight but I also have not gained during this holiday season when I have not exercised and have eaten much more than I normally do and of course what I have been eating has not been healthy! I am pleased with this product.

  My guess is that it would be because it is homeopathic. You can ask your dr? At one time I used to give it to my dog. They have a 1800 number, you can talk to customer service person. You could also ask your dr? Are you on Rx thyroid?

As a family that has supported breastfeeding on demand, the rule of thumb is to always ask your physician. We also use homeopathics vut never on babies and infants.
What ever you eat or drink goes into your breast milk.
