What is the difference between Vit C crystals and Vit C powder?

Best Answer:  If it's only Vitamin C and nothing else, then it's the same difference as granulated sugar vs. powdered sugar. Crystalized is generally pure and it's in crystal form due to the manuafcturing process. Powdered may be simply ground crystal (I don't see the point if it's pure), but powder will mix better with other ingredients if it's a C complex, or you intend to make a formula/recipe..

Can I use the powder to mix into lotion to put on my face? Is it safe? Is it the same as L-ascorbic form of vitamin C?

Best Answer:  Yes you can but keep in mind that water activates it so pat the lotion on wet face (I mix the powder in a little water & apply it first, then put on lotion).
Don't use too much, a 1/4 Tspoon or less, you should feel slight tingle but not more then that.

Best Answer:  I never heard of it being used this way. It is recommended to be used in a drink, like a protein drink, or sprinkled on a salad or on your food. I would check with my doctor before using it topically.

Best Answer:  Weird but mine didn't! I thought it was just on the bottom. This is one powder that is very strong tasting. No more than a tiny bit or you won't drink it.
