Customers review summary

The Vital Proteins collagen peptides delight customers with flavors that pair smoothly with coffee and recipes. Its quick dissolving texture, approachable vanilla and chocolate options, and reported boosts to hair, skin, nails and joint comfort are features many customers appreciate. A number of customers note clumping, a pronounced stevia aftertaste, or trouble opening the new paper packaging, yet most find it an easy, tasty way to add collagen protein into their daily routine.

Packaging
The new packaging is very difficult to open. And to make matters worse, the product is not protected from humidity once the lid is off.

Excellent product in an excellent package
This is the first time I've purchased this brand. Put some in my morning tea and it tastes just like it should! The reason I'm contacting the company is to thank you for packing your excellent product in a cardboard container. I am so over all the plastic. Everything comes in plastic and I am buying products that don't whenever I can. Once again, Thank you!!!

Never again
This was my first time using Vital Collagen Peptides- and probably my last. Yesterday my scoops of the powder had plastic like pieces in it. I fished them out, and let it go. This morning, more plastic like pieces! Big enough to see with the naked eye. Sorry, I can't go through another day like this.

I will no longer be buying this product. Their new cardboard container that is impossible to open is not worth the money. Powder was flying all over and the cardboard container comes apart. The company was very nice and sent me a small container as a somewhat replacement. It happened with the small container as well. Therefore, I will no longer be buying this product.

quality & sustainable business practices
I've been taking collagen peptides daily for over 10 years now. Last year I switched over to Vital Proteins because I couldn't stomach the number of single-use plastic containers I was throwing away any longer. It is sooooo refreshing to finally have a brand take sustainability seriously, while still producing a quality product.Thank you, Vital Proteins!!!

Love the product & packaging
I enjoy that the powder is completely tasteless. Also, I was unsure about the latest cardboard packaging, but I actually really like it. Once you figure out how to open it the first time every time after is easy and it's so much less plastic going into landfills! Well done!

Phenomenal Results
My barber noticed I'm visiting her more often AND she now has to use thinning shears on my hair. My nails are growing fast & thick. I'm not merely happy with this product - I'm ecstatic!

I like the product; I don't like the container!
I use your Marine Collagen and have for a few years. I was purchasing the bovine based collagen, but my cholesterol went up slightly. It was then I switched to the Marine Collagen and glad I did. I am 82 years old and find it difficult to understand and open the new container. I just received my order today and used a sharp paring knife to see if I could get ahold of the buried tab to open it. Your instructions need to be better, or you need to design a better container. I understand the choice…

Taking it consistently will give you the fastest results- I take it every morning with my coffee and I’ll add it to something else when cooking. But like anything, working with it will speed up results- (ie healthy diet and exercise, great skin regimen) but! If you’re not on top of things, this will still give you results as long as you use it consistently.

Lindsey S

I usually drink a warm cup of it on empty stomach, first thing in the morning or on ocassion at lunch time. When I have lemon on hand, I will also squeeze half a slice of lemon in to my cup. The pain on my right knee goes away since drinking a cup of this. Hope this helps.

Irene T

I drink it in my coffee with breakfast and have had great results. Not sure if drinking it on an empty stomach makes a difference since I no longer have daily pain in my knee and have better mobility in my joints with my regimen.

JENNIFER

I mix it first thing in the morning with my coffee, cup of iced tea or even a basic cup of water. But I'de say yes on an empty stomach

Mia

I mix it with my coffee in the morning before breakfast so yes.
