Yes there is an unpleasant odor and taste in this collagen
My first purchase of this is April '26 so cannot compare to previous batches. But those saying there is an unpleasant odor and taste are not wrong. I switched to this for the 10 types of collagen, due to the primary need for bone building. My previous VS collagen was the VS brand grass fed in the orange cannister, but it has only Bovine collagen and I needed to upgrade to all 10 with chicken bone and egg shell etc. The Bovine was so fine it melted into coffee and no taste. Thr Ancient Nutriton is grainer and some settles at the bottom of the coffee cup no matter how many times it is stirred.

This might be normal for a 10 collagen mixture due to bones and shells being added. But the unpleasant odor of the powder and the way it makes coffee taste awful even with cream, means I will look for anothrr 10 collagen formula after finishing this which I will have to use in some food it can't ruin. It is a shame because I know this one is considered such high quality.

Superior product
I've used Multi Collagen Protein from other brands a time or two and they pale in comparison to Ancient Nutrition Multi Collagen Protein. Been with this brand for over 2 years and there's none other like it for quality, blend ability, versatility and performance. Love the packaging because it's one less tub to contend with and reseals easily.

Strong Odor and Flavor
Prior purchases had minimal flavor impact on my morning coffee so decided to stock up and bought a pack of three. Unfortunately, this lot has a strong odor and makes my coffee unpleasant to drink. Very disappointed.
