Frequently Asked Questions

What is hydrolyzed whey protein isolate?

Hydrolyzed whey protein isolate (HWPI) is whey protein isolate that has been broken down into smaller chains of amino acids called peptides. Peptides are easier to digest, allowing for faster absorption into the bloodstream.

What are BCAAs?

Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) include leucine, isoleucine, and valine. They support muscle growth and reduce muscle fatigue.

What are essential amino acids?

Essential amino acids (EAAs) are amino acids that your body can’t produce enough of on its own, including leucine, isoleucine, valine, histidine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, and tryptophan. EAAs support muscle growth and recovery.

Pricey

What happened to this protein being 70 bucks. Now it's 139? Sorry. That's literally a 100% mark up from where it used to be. I've been using this for years. It's a great protein, but not for this price.

Just make up the price

Are you nuts? How does it go from $70.00 (which is already high) to $104.00. And don't tell me tariffs. Buy one get one half off? Hahaha such a "deal".

Cost as much as a Ferrari of protein powder prices

Price is insane I don't know if I'm really feeling any gains , because I'm in the gym minimum of 2 hours sometimes 3 or 4 hours at a time , but I must say has the least amount of chemicals out of any protein powder accordion to the ingredients on the label . Also it mixes fast with a ninja blender . The other grade levels like Gold might be just as good the Good . I do like it but had better but I hate the process $100 for one jug l I'm expecting to look like a Ferrari after I drink this…

Highly recommend

Fantastic taste, but a little pricey if you don't have the automated order where you can save 10% and free shipping which I recommend. If you are looking for a good protein shake I highly recommend this product. I've been using this particular protein powder for almost a year.

Shipping bad, customer care just as bad

Crushed bottles arrived. Cans of something I didnt order were included and no packing material was in the box, so the containers were flattened and box damaged. Called customer support, told I'd get replacements, sent pictures as requested, 2 days later customer care responds that I need to send items back for either refund or replacement. How? With what? What a mess. Literally.

When is the best time to take Hydro Whey? Morning or During the Work out or In the evening?

Jasmin J.Feb 7, 2013

Depends on you. I started taking it pre-workout but worked best after workout due to its fast absorption. I take four shakes a day due on workout days morning, pre, post and before bed

MERVYN VFeb 8, 2013

The best time is after a workout. As muscle growth and recovery is best at that time. But I also take it in the morning...They recommend a slower acting protein at night.

ChristopherFeb 7, 2013

I find it best in the morning as I don't care for breakfast and work out in the am. It really helps curb hunger pangs until lunch.

Peter GFeb 8, 2013

Immediately After the workout, the proteins refined into really small chains and is absorbed quickly. Perfect for post workout.

ian cFeb 7, 2013

After your workout. Doesn't matter morning or evening because its for recovery after a workout works best.

Andrew BFeb 7, 2013

for me is best time in the morning around 7:30 . one scope . and 2 scopes after workout .
