Lowered my cholesterol
Taking this along with red rice yeast and my cholesterol went down 20 points in a month and half of taking this. Excited to see what it is after 3-4 months. I also changed my diet, no carbs or sugar, and exercise a lot. Which helped lower my numbers.

I like everything about the Policosanol. First of all it was hard to find in the stores, and they only gave you a 60 day supply. This kept me going to the pharmacy too often. I really thought that GNC was the only place that sold this product. I would recommend this product.

Lowered Cholesterol-Raise Blood Pressure
This product combined with Heart Choice Sterols, lowered my cholesterol by 20 points in two months but raised my blood pressure as well.

Be careful using supplements. They can have a negative impact when using them, not just prescription meds.

Policosanol
I use this product to help lower my cholesterol.
I like that it is a small tablet and good quanity
for the money.
As of now, I have not had my cholesterol rechecked, since I haven't been using it long enough. However, for me, it is better than taking
prescription drugs.

Guilty by Genetics
I have been hit by the "It runs in the family train" with high Cholesterol and high Blood Pressure so I tried all the prescriptions the doctors ordered and I had really bad side effects with the muscular pain etc. My husband works with a gentleman who had the same problem and he suggested Vitamin Shoppe Policosanol. I tried it and within 6 months my Cholesterol was significantly down to Normal and just below it a little bit. I really suggest this product to anyone who has high Cholesterol it really works and best yet NO SIDE EFFECTS! just good results. I have been taking it for over 10 years and have not had high Cholesterol since. It doesn't even comes up in the Doctors office conversation anymore they know it is not FDA approved and do not approve of me taking it but admitted it must be working so to continue to do what I am doing and they will continue to monitor it. PS! They did ask me to spell it and wrote it down for themselves... Great company to order from fantastic Customer Service stores and on line! Great Product!!! I suggest to everyone and I will never stop taking it!

When my husband's doctor told him that he had high cholesterol, we searched for a product that would be safe to use. We found Vitamin Shoppe's brand of Policosanol. After doing a little research, we decided that this product was safe to use, was reasonably priced and would be a beneficial aid in controlling our cholesterol levels. I am happy to report that by using the Policosanol, as well as watching our diets, we have both been able to keep our cholesterol numbers at lower, satisfactory levels! There have been no negative side effects. We have recommended this product to everyone we know who is dealing with high cholesterol levels. We have both used this product for years and have no plans to stop using it. Yes, we think that everyone should give it a try!!!!!

Better Then Lipitor to Lower Cholesterol
I am ecstatic! I got my new cholesterol test to see if this really worked to lower my cholesterol and it did! It works better, because my cholesterol is lower then it was when I was taking 10 MG of Lipitor for 4 years. My good cholesterol, (HDL) is up, bad cholesterol (LDL) is down and Triglycerides are down. Lipitor destroyed my muscles, very painful hips, joints couldn't walk, get up & down due to side effects. Now I found this incredible alternative that has NO SIDE EFFECTS. Wow, anyone who reads this must try this Policosanol to see for yourself. I've taken it now for over 2 months, got cholesterol test as recommended after 8 weeks of using it. This is made from pure sugar cane and the wax from it is what they use to lower cholesterol. My MD was happy with with my test too, though she said she can't recommend because it's not FDA approved. So glad I made this move on my own.
