Directions
Add two (2) scoops of powder (28.3 g) to one (1) cup (8 fl. oz.) cold water. Stir, blend, or add to shaker bottle and mix or shake until smooth.

Horrible taste that cannot be covered up
Believe the bad reviews. This is the worst tasting protein I've tried in 25 yrs. Tastes like unsweetened vanilla chalk. Worse still, it's unfixable. I've tried adding monkfruit, stevia, erithritol, and allulose yet nothings masks the chalky clumpy mush this powder makes. Stay away.

Very good protein powder
Very good protein. It has good flavor and it mixes very well and easy. I have yet to get any clumps. I also mix it with Kage Clean Burn Mango in the morning to get a good pump start to my day.

The Truth!!
I've been using this protein for quite some time, and I like both vanilla and chocolate. I started using it because it doesn't have the added sugar and with the vanilla, I can make a smoothie and add fruit and vegetable of my choice and it really taste great.

Worst recovery flavor ever.
Most awful tasting protein powder ever. I'm a lifelong endurance athlete and have consumed dozens of recovery drinks. By far the worst with no customer satisfaction guarantee.

Wost whey protein ever -- literally no redeeming qualities
This is easily the worst whey protein product I have ever purchased. I literally almost threw the whole thing out after the first shake I made, but i didn't want to waste the money I'd spent. The taste (allegedly vanilla) was awful -- tasted like a mix of eggnog and paint thinner. It mixes very poorly and I always end up with large clumps. I've started mixing it with chocolate syrup or something similar, and that makes it a bit more palatable. Folks, don't be tempted to buy this just because of the good price.

Strong strong flavor
Has a distinct vanilla flavor that I can't get past and overpowers everything (even when baking with it). Other than that it's good, I love the unflavored version

Why did you choose this?
I have many mutations and need a whey for the glutathione that is in natural whey while avoiding some other things like folic acid, b12 and grams of glutamine and cysteine. But there is very little info on this label, esp. the aa profile with grams of ingredients.I have contacted VS and they are going send me a full ingredient list I hope.So, what are the ingredients?np

Says it contains soy? Is this GMO free because everything soy pretty much contains GMO's.
The product doesn't state on it anywhere, (that I can find) saying it is GMO free. Most places proudly place "NON GMO" right on their labels. I was told by a friend that it only states "Soy" because it's made in a factory that produces soy product. I wish I could be more helpful than that to you.
if it is labeled organic, it cannot be a GMO. US Law does not allow the label to be organic if using GMO's.

Product does not blend well even though using a blender ball...it still has clumps!!! Does anyone else have this problem?
I found VS True Athlete Natural Whey Protein to mix easily, tastes great and mixes easily with anything...juice, soy milk, water, fruit, etc. No clumping, no problems! I even used a little VS shaker cup at times (w/o fruit, of course!)
use a blender or emulsifier. I usually shake mine up with multiple ice cubes

does it make you gain weight?
No.
it is high protein and extra calories... added to milkshakes or smoothies in addition to a normal diet it most certainly can help one gain weight unless you are burning more calories through activities such as serious weight training or cardio.

How much Soy does this contain?
It doesn't contain any. The statement on the container is only because it's made in a factory that also produces soy products.

How much phosphorous is in a scoop?
The "True Athlete Natural Whey Protein" powder appears to have no phosphorus at all. Check the Vitaminshoppe website listing for this product, click on "supplement facts", and it will show a list of the amounts of all the nutrients that are in it.

How many times should I consume this on a daily basis 2 times per day or will 3 be excessive?
Best Answer: My husband takes it once a day instead of eating breakfast. That works for him. Don’t know about additional times.
