I use this for my cats when they have to go to the vet. I spray it into their travel cage before putting them into it and they are much calmer for the journey there and with the vet. It is fine and useful for humans but I do not know about spray dosage in that regard. I use the pastilles--not the spray-- when traveling, placing one under my tongue and use as many as I feel I need. I suggest you call the company.

  You can use Rescue Remedy as needed. I know one person with anxiety who uses it through out the day. It is a flower remedy similar to homeopathics. Some people use it for sleep about 45 minutes before bed. It all depends on what your need is.

  Hi From what I know about flower remedies, they are 100% safe. I have given it to our 8 yr old cats. I worked at Whole Foods in the supplement dept. and people frequently gave their animals rescue remedy. They only need a small amount. You may have more success using a dropper for a quick under the tongue dose. Our cats always squirm with sprays ( either way works). Another method: put some on there fur- they automatically lick it off ! ;0

  I had purchased the spray in error so I can not answer your question directly. However, I have a 22 year old (possibly older) cat who is calmed by the Feliway Plug-in Diffuser. You might want to give that a try if you can not get a definite answer to your question about Rescue Remedy.

  I use this for my dog and it is a true blessing; although, I think the drops are easier to administer. One spray or if the liquid 3-4 drops is the dose I use for my dog. Also, you can give them another dose in 45 minutes if they are in a stressful situation.
