They taste kind of like a sweet tart without the tart and just a little sweet. They are not unpleasant at all. I like them because they provide a little help in digestion, and can be carried everywhere you go. Definitely one of the tools in my toolbox. I work third shift and my stomach is not always ready or willing to digest food. I also found out that learning when and how to use fresh lemonade and or pineapple when my stomach lacks enough acid or calcium lactate when I have too much acid completes my toolbox in regards to the digestion/indigestion issue.   They have a very pleasant, sort of pineapple like taste that is not chalky at all. I like that they are a natural food source and they really help my digestion considerably. Over the course of fifty years or so, the use of antibiotics has stripped my digestion of its flora and that does not replace itself. I highly recommend the papaya enzyme supplements. I take them every morning with breakfast.

  I have been using this exact same brand for 44 years! There is no aspirin taste or chalkiness. They have a mildly sweet fruit taste. They are perfect to use after a heavy meal, especially protein, like a ribeye steak.

  They don't have much of a taste at all. Nor are they chalky. I just munch on them with no problems. I did try the Super . . . They have a definite fresher (I don't know any other way to describe it) after taste. I prefer the ones you are asking about.

  I can relate. but these art more powdery then sugary. they taste more like little mint pellets.

  They have a mild papaya flavor. A little chalky. They also have a mint flavor, which are okay, but I prefer the papaya.
