No pain no gain
I have been on this over 12 years. We were in the middle of moving and I forgot to take mine for a while and I was hurting bad and my friend asked me was I taking my bio cell . I said no omg I got to find the bottle so I'm back on it and I'm flexible now with no pain .

Smells and tastes rancid
I bought these directly from a Vitamin Shoppe in Western New York. They smell like turpentine that is rancid. I usually buy Doctor's Best Biocell collagen, but the Vitamin Shoppe did not have it at the time. I am going to open the cap and "air it out" to see if that helps. If not, I have to throw away the bottle and waste $50. That is really upsetting

Lubricates your joints and skin from the inside, making you look and feel decades younger!
At age 75, people think I'm 50! I believe that Vitamin Shoppe's BIOCELL COLLAGEN II is largely responsible for this, as well as for my well-lubricated joints that seem to have all "cushioning" intact. In 2005, when I was 55 years old, the manager of the Vitamin Shoppe near the Northridge Mall told me about an MD who bought a lot of this products. He guessed his age to be around 35 but he was 60 years old! This product contains HYALURONIC ACID, which I understand carries 1,000 times its weight in water, attracting it to your joints and underneath your skin, creating a more youthful appearance. It lubricates you from the inside. As a senior, I really appreciate that I do NOT have "bone grinding on bone" in my joints but have joints that a much younger person would have. It pays to be PROACTIVE because your senior years will creep up on you in a jiffy. I recommend this product to everyone age 40 & up to help them tremendously in the decades that follow. **THANK YOU, VITAMIN SHOPPE!!! YOU REALLY DO ROCK!!!***

From Knee Pain to No Pain
Honestly, this stuff is amazing. I train almost every day and was really hitting a wall with knee pain. I was searching for answers everywhere but just couldn't find anything that helped. I came across a recommendation online that you need to specfically supplement with Type II Collagen. I picked this up and within 3-4 days I could already feel the difference. Now it's been over 2 weeks and my pain has gone from ruining my whole day to barely even thinking about it. Highly recommended, especially if you've tried other supplements for joint pain and they didn't work.

Helps Body Utilize Water
I take 2 capsules once/day on an empty stomach rather than the recommended 2 twice/day (usually because I forget to take it before dinner). I've noticed that overall my body seems to absorb water better when I take this supplement - I don't feel bloated/less stomach gurgling, skin isn't dry/itchy, muscles/joints hurt less, & stretch marks are less visible/lighter. I stopped taking it for a couple weeks & I noticed the difference.

Best Answer:  I have never used Biocell Silica but I swear by BioCell Collagen with Hyaluronic Acid. I started several years ago using just hyaluronic acid and took it for a couple of years. I found it hard to find so i started using BioCell. I have not had any problems and this product appears to work the same as the plain hyaluronic acid. Before the product my knees creeked and hurt most of the time and kneeling was painful. Since using this product I have freedom of movement and no problems kneeling. I hope this helps you.

Best Answer:  Hello, Get the product with Collagen & Hyaluronic Acid combined. I've had my share of injuries and pain. After my injuries and surgeries, the Collagen helped with repairs to my joints and improved my skin; and it continues to do so to this day. I can say the same for the Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid lubricates all our joints and plumps our skin. I've been using this product for years and swear by the results.

What is the function of hyaluronic acid in this product?

Best Answer:  I am really not sure of the exact purpose of the hyaluronic acid. I only know I thought I was going to have to have hand surgery for trigger finger (locking joints) in at least 5 fingers, and after using Biocell, my hands are loose and free, with no pain. My husband swears it saved his knees, our skin is younger looking, hair is healthier--it is a great product!
