It is easy to chew and easy to drink, or dissolve in a glass of water before drinking. Think, a tablet dissolved in water or dissolved with water while drinking :-) I always check how a pill dissolve in a water to see how it would work inside my body. For me it is not easy to swallow pills in general, large heavy capsules or tablets especially but Alive is easy and need only one a day.

  I never dissolve the tablet in water, so I don't know. I take the tablets with water, and it is potent as is..

  This would be a good question for the manufacturer!
I really don't know, but it may help with assimilation.
Perhaps that's why they produce liquid vitamins.

  Hi there- I have been taking these vitamins for about 4 years now. If you stop taking them, the difference is immediate. I like that they supplement my well balanced but not irregular diet. I am very busy. The pill is quite large, but you should be able to cut it in half. They also make a liquid, veggie cap, gummi and chewable version as well. I swear by them! Hope this helps- Jana

  No larger than any other vitamin but I had gastric upset and cannot take this vitamin. If u are sensitive, ingredients may not agree with you.

  The pill size is average and is not difficult to swallow. Hard to answer the second part as it is one of many supplements I take.

  This is large pill but soft with citrus taste. It is easy to chew, or dissolve in a glass of water before drinking.

  I'm past 50 & STILL have to take iron or I feel sluggish after awhile. I also work out a lot with weight training,hiking,step aerobics & yoga. My doc says it's ok to take iron. I don't eat a lot of red meat & apparently plant based iron doesn't do it for me. I've got lifetime membership in weight watchers & other women on the 50 plus message board have also said they have to take iron.

  They make one without iron. Look for it.
