So is this actually from food or is it "like" the beta carotene in food and actually a synthetically produced beta-carotene? 25000 iu in one capsule seems like a lot for a whole food vitamin.

Best Answer:  No, this is not a synthetic vitamin. It is a whole food vitamin that contains the entire carotene complex.

Best Answer:  I'm not an expert but what I know is the capsule is small, not quite a 1/2 inch, I'd say. Perhaps it refers to the shape which is oval.
