Questionable combination
Taking 2 a day gives 1200 mg calcium which is recommended. However, that only provides less than half (400 IU)the amount of vitamin d recommended (1000 IU) daily in those 2 giant gels.

Read the label carefully.
Wanting to buy my calcium supplement at the vitamin shop because it would be more convenient than having to make another stop for Citracal. My first problem with this supplement is the size of the capsule. It?s really big. If you have any problems swallowing you may want to avoid this. The second thing I noticed is this is calcium carbonate not calcium citrate . Just read carefully and be sure this is the product you want.

HUGE! Biggest I've ever seen for Calcium.
So happy to find one 1200 mg pill I need daily instead of 3 or 4 a day. But...these are GINORMIS!! The internet doesn't show you the "actual size" of the pill in the bottle. The Vitamin Shoppe cropped that off. These Calcium pill measures in at a little over 1&1/4" long, which is bigger than the "actual size"on the bottle, and they are pretty fat around also.

Calcium 1200 with Vit D3
I have been pleased with this Softgel Calcium vitamin. They are easy to swallow and seem very fresh. Price is good and I will take advantage of the Free Shipping with a $25.00 order. It's easy to fine something else I need at the Vitamin Shoppe with the array of other items they carry.

Why pay more?
I’ve been taking this brand of calcium since my doctor recommended that a woman who is aging should be taking a certain amount of calcium in addition to her diet. Vitamin Shoppe prices are fair and they often run BOGO offers.

Misleading Labeling
This is marketed as a 1,200mg tablet. The reason for the purchase was because it is easier to take one tablet. It would seem if it is called 1,200 and says 1,200 mg that it actually is 1,200 mgs - this is only 600 mgs - so 120 softgels would lead one to believe it is 120 1,200 mg softgels. It is not.
