What I do to blend the taste is buy the Dole Shakers (Strawberry or Banana) in the store and put a scoop in there, along with some juice....I've been using this product for 2 years now, and I've gotten very used to the taste, because it's very well worth it!!

  Deeeeeeeelicious. Use frozen organic berries, throw in a banana and kale and you have it all. Oh side not, blend all ingredients BE f oRE adding protein powder to blend. It won't expand as much with air.

  It tastes like the back lawn but my husband (who does not like vegetables) swears by it and says it makes him feel energetic and healthy.

  The taste is not very pleasant at first. I use 4 oz apple juice and 4 oz water. The apple juice helps cut the strong taste.

  I know this has been a common question and when I called the company some months back they were reformulating a few aspects of the product so they could state non-gmo. Having been an owner myself of a raw food company for 10 successful years it is challenging to say the least to create the most healthy products. I believe Garden of Life products are safe and have health giving properties that aren't found other than by eating the raw foods themselves providing the raw foods are 100% organic.

  The product Perfect Food Raw is certified USDA Organic. It is my understanding that, by law , no certified organic product can have any genetically modified ingredients. Therefore, I believe it is safe to say that there are no GMO's in Perfect Food Raw Organic.

  I have never counted the servings each time I have purchased this wonderful green raw food! If you did not get the whole 30 portions it may depend on how full you had the little scoop? To me it is more important to be able to trust in the goodness of the product and also about all of what it contains as far as ingredients are concerned. It gives me the extra raw and green food that I sometimes am short of in my daily diet, so I simply love it and will reorder it when the container is empty.

  Hi,I took a class once and was taught how to measure,some times we just scoop it up with out looking at the line which makes it a scoop not knowing its a little more then we though.easy mistake,thinking.what I like to do is take a scoop and see if there's a line telling us its a full scoop when you reach there.it there's no line then I take a knife and smooth it across the top of the scoop.taking off any extras.I hope this help and wish you well.

  Hi, I agree with you. I have been using it for a few years now and have never gotten 30 scoops. However, on the back it says approximately 2 tablespoons = 1 scoop so I believe they are basing 30 servings on that. 2 tablespoons is a bit less than 1 scoop. Also do you shake the container before using, it becomes compacted while sitting. The product it so good tho and really has been a huge factor in changing the way I feel.

  Gluten is a by product of wheat and other grains. This product does not contain wheat or grain (to my knowledge). It does contain grasses, but that is an entirely different element. I do not believe you should worry about gluten with this product. Always check the ingredients for grain to see it there is gluten present.

  It's apparently everything BUT gluten free. There's nothing listing gluten or any warnings, but they don't boast of it at all. I'd have to say it's not gluten free.

  I assume you could add milk to this product, however I would not suggest it. One of the benefits to the product is the lack of animal products and their hormones. I am also not sure about the taste. I also assume you are attempting to reduce fats, hormones (from meats) and induce rich food without processing. Introducing a product that is the opposite does "kinda" negate the reason for ingesting the product.

  i guess u could mix it with milk. shouldnt hurt. i liked it with vanilla almond milk, or chocolate almond milk, because the taste is unusual, and needed a little something extra, in my opinion.

  I am not sure I would mix this with milk. I think juice or water is best thats how I drink it. And I drink mine in the morning for my breakfast to start my day off right.

  I often worry that I don't eat enough raw and green veggies and such so it has become a big helper with that and it also helps digestion along the way. I drink a lot of water with it and add a little Pom juice or black cranb. juice to make it taste refreshing.

  My wife uses this product daily. She finds that it gives her more energy, helps with her digestive system.

  I love perfect food and keep it on hand at all times. I add it to smoothies, which is my daily lunch ritual. It works great added with Super Seed to keep the colon operating perfectly.
