      Causes anxiety in some individuals.
      I'm sure this works for other people but please use with caution. I didn't know it can cause anxiety and it gave me an awful panic attack that I had to go to the hospital for.

      Great Product for Senior Dogs and Cats
      my holistic vet recommended an l-glutamine supplement for my senior dogs who are starting to lose muscle mass, and one of them also has acid reflux/tendency for stomach ulcers. I've started using it with my cats as well. It isn't working miracles by any means, but I definitely think it is helping with muscle tone and has helped my one with her reflux. This is a very good value for this product and I will be buying it again.

      This stuff is a miracle.

      Best Answer:  No. It is an amino acid that the body readily produces in the lungs, but as always past the age of 25 the normal processes slows down. It aids in the healing processes, great for the immune system and when coupled with NAC N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine it produces L-Glutithione. I never heard about hair loss.

      My trainer has be taking TwinLab's Amino Fuel in the morning, on an empty stomach. Would I take this in addition to that, but after my workout in the evening?

        I'm not familiar with Amino Fuel. Is there glut amine in it? If so I wouldn't take a separate dose pre workout. I take 5mg pre workout, 5 mg post workout and 5 mg at bedtime.

        If the teenager is an athlete, powdered L-glutamine is great for muscle recovery. I would always advice you to check with your medical professional. Especially, if the teenager is on any prescription medication.
