      Gallstone pain gone
      I bought this specifically because it has the highest concentration on linoleic acid I could find. I suffered many years with gallstones and had the gallbladder taken out several years ago. That only helped some and when the pain increased a few months ago, I found a 2011 medical journal article that talked about omega 6 fatty acid's linolenic acid converting to another acid that would dissolve gallstones.       I was told by my Breast Specialist many years ago that Evening Primrose Oil was very high in GLA's (Gamma-Linoleic Acid) which is ultra-helpful for women's health, in particular the tissue of the Breast and Dermis (skin). Solgar's Eve Prim Oil is Chemical Solvent-free which is why I continue to purchase. I take one soft gel per day along with a Vit E capsule
      at night before bedtime. Hope this helps!

        My Doctor suggested it for PMS along with Vitamin B6 at 100mg. You can take it every day or I take it the week before and during my cycle everyday. I use the 1300 MG, which is a bit more than the 1000 mg my Doc recommended, because I like Solgar Products.

        I take it twice a day (2 per day) for the Omega 3 supplement and to help skin, hair, nails. It seems to help. I have autoimmune issues. Hope this helps.

        I've been taking evening primrose oil for about 15 years now; I started because an endocrinologist told me he had read a promising study that suggested it might be beneficial in preventing diabetic neuropathy. I have long since forgotten what he recommended as the right dosage, but I somehow arrived at 12 caps a day of 300 mg caps. I can't say for sure if that's the correct dosage...or even if it has prevented neuropathy, but I HAVEN'T had any neuropathy with my diabetes, so I will continue to take it'
