Take for nerve pain
I take this for mild fibromyalgia. My rheumatologist recommended it. Been taking it for 2 years. No side effects.

Great source of omega-3 fatty acids
My good cholesterol is always high because I take this Evening Primrose oil. Also My fingers lock up if I do not take it.

Gallstone pain gone
I bought this specifically because it has the highest concentration on linoleic acid I could find. I suffered many years with gallstones and had the gallbladder taken out several years ago. That only helped some and when the pain increased a few months ago, I found a 2011 medical journal article that talked about omega 6 fatty acid's linolenic acid converting to another acid that would dissolve gallstones. I found out the only source is evening primrose oil. I went to the nearest Vitamin Shoppe, looked at all the different concentrations and choose this one. I expected it would take 30 days or so to help. I took it with my next meal and surprisingly it helped immediately as it seems to have some pain relieving effect. I still take it to prevent a recurrence. (Note: Not everyone's body makes the enzyme that can convert the linoleic acid).
