      I tried to make an order with the Vitamin Shoppe during a buy one get one half off sale and the online system would let me complete the transaction, then automatically and immediately canceled my order. I tried it multiple times wit two different methods of payment, both working for other online orders, but it continued to cancel my orders. Then I sent them an email about the problem and weeks later have not received a response.

      Although this product doesn't state the type of cinnamon, the Ultimate Woman 50+ shows "Cassia," cinnamon that has a large amount of coumarin, a highly toxic compound that causes liver damage, compared to Cylon cinnamon, which has almost none. I have been asking, emailing, calling and not one reply in 2 weeks from the "produce information department" or "research and development" whether the cinnamon bark extract (some processes purify, others don't) here contains coumarin, and if so, how much. Can't anyone elaborate or help?

        I believe that what they want you to do is to take one tablet three times a day. It is better if you take them with meals also. That is how I gave them to my husband.

      The format using the number and spelling out the number is used to try to eliminate confusion. The Three and (3) are meant to indicate the same quantity, so you should take a total of 3 tablets per day. This can be all 3 at once, or 1 at each meal.

        I'm not an attorney nor health expert. I am over 50 and consider a quality multi-vitamin/dietary supplement part of a healthy regiment. Sorry - I just keep it simple and also keep it moving. It's better to have the magnesium that not.

        I have no idea. I have been taking this multivitamin for a couple of years with no problems. Recently, I have switched to multivitamins by another company - Pro-Caps that are in powder form

        Iron is always excluded from men's vitamins, since men need it only in trace amounts easily obtained from typical regular food sources. Can't comment on your potassium question, though I do think this is a great men's 50 plus formula, and have been using it myself for over 3 years with no plans on stopping (and I'm only 46!)

        This is not a one a day multi. It is a 3 a day vitamin. My husband takes 2 a day. There are other Ultimate's that are one a day, however some a very large and difficult to swollow. He has been on these for a while now and likes the results.

        Information on the label (back of bottle) states that the serving size is 3 tablets - so you would need 3 a day to provide the total nutrients listed on the label breakdown.

        This multi calls for 3 per day. If that's a problem for you, consider checking out their Ultimate Man (not 50+), which is a twice a day product.
