Terrible taste great product
First I tried it with water then I tried it with juice and it tastes awful but then I brought a small blender and I mixed it with milk and a banana every morning and it went down just fine it's great if you do it that way and it really works they're always out though and I'm upset about that

Disgusting taste and does not mix well
I bought this product at the store and it was the worst choice to pick this one up.
1. It taste horrible and smells bad
2. it does not mix well at all.
3. I prefer a scoop to be in with the product, instead of telling to do 1 heaping tablespoon.
To me, that is not accurate as i will just scoop whatever amount I think is right with any spoon

Disappointed
My order keeps getting cancelled because you don't have the product in stock. Don't put it on the store site if you are out. I have fibromyalgia and this stuff is a lifesaver. Last time I found it in Maui when I was there as it wasn't in stock in Oregon. It has happened again. Extremely disappointed to say the least. Now I only have 1/2 a can left.

Hiding the texture and flavor
Why does everyone think they have to make this into a drink? Because the label says so? C'mon.

Think about how it can be used beyond the directions. I use it mixed with "things" not liquids. Usually a teaspoon per serving throughout the day. And never stiir with a spoon! Use a mini whisk or a fork! Some examples:

Breakfast: Sprinkle 1-1.5 teaspoon over your bowl of unsweetend applesauce;, sprinkle with a light dusting of cinnamon sugar.

Lunch: When making 4-servings of tuna, egg, sor mashed chickpea sandwich filling. sprinkle TBS over the bowl. Fork it in.

Dinner: Put it into a clean spice jar and sprinkle it over dinner stuff.Like vegeatbles, Or fork it into mashed potatoes or squash, Or into rice (or other grain) pilaf. Etc.

In other words, stop thinking of it as a "supplest" and instead as an invisible "ingredient". :-)

good for the price.
tastes like wet bread and feet.. has the consistency of cornstarch and is just as difficult to get to dissolve in water.
after being very unhappy about this i made a concoction of water, crushed tomatoes and cayenne pepper in my blender that i keep in the fridge to mix this with, a small juice glass and one tablespoon of this stuff and you can get it down no sweat.

if you're curious i use 1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes, then fill the can with water and use that and a tablespoon of cayenne pepper, blend till smooth and then use this as my juice mix as i go.

Taste was a turn off
I bought 2 of these and returned the unused one b/c I didn't like the taste. I like to mix my multivitamin powders with my chocolate whey protein in the morning. The ingredients in this powder contains lemon and it has a bitter taste and doesn't mix well with my chocolate whey powder. If it came in chocolate or vanilla, I would've probably kept it and ordered more. Also, the list of ingredients isn't as extensive as other multivitamin powders I've used. I'll look for something else.

Best Answer:  Ron, this multi vitamin & mineral powder will over-power any drink. I have to mix this into a blender with other fruits and greens to cover the taste, and even then it will sometimes dominate the flavor of the blended mix. Hope this helps.

I have a question about the amount of vitamin A that is the the Multi Vitamin and Mineral powder. From my research the highest level of vitamin A to safely take without the risk of toxicity is 10,000 IU. I notice that this vitamin powder has 15,000 IU. Because of this amount I am afraid to take the full amount that is recommended.

Can you explain why there is so much IU of Vitamin A in this product?

Best Answer:  53% of the vitamin A comes from what is known as preformed vitamin A (retinol)-this is the form that has the potential for toxicity with a daily intake of more than 10,000 IU. The other 47% comes from provitamin A (beta-carotene) which must be converted to retinol in the body. The reason why beta-carotene has a much lower risk of toxicity (safely consume 25,000 IU/day) is that this conversion is not very efficient and is tightly controlled by the body. So one would only consume about 7,950IU of retinol in one serving of this product (less than the 10,000 IU the customer is concerned about) The other 7050 IU is in the much less toxic beta-carotene form.

Best Answer:  Everyone's bodies can react differently depending on their diet. I have not had stomach issues but the taste is not the greatest. I add a little apple juice to the glass of water and blend it.

Can children take this (specifically inquiring about ages 13 and 11) and, if so, how would the dosage change?

Best Answer:  I would base it on body weight, I gave a half dose to my three teens until they weight 125 lbs, then i upped it to the full dose. Mind you, what I consider a full dose is half what they state on the label since we eat a very healthy diet and get half our nutrients from that!

How does this product taste?

Best Answer:  Although there is no flavor added, by itself it has a bit of a citrus overtone to it. It plays well with fruits and with strongly flavored smoothies that have a bit of an "acidic" component. I sometimes make a supercharged morning coffee using the powder, concentrated coffee, milk, ice cubes, and some kind of flavored syrup.

I've tried it without the syrup, and the flavor pokes through.
