Amazing For Digestion

Supports your respiratory system as well!
I started taking ginger last year b/c I was told it helps with inflammation. But what I didn't know was that it also helps support your respiratory system. I had stopped taking it b/c I didn't think it was helping me. About a week later I started getting short of breath. Wheezing. I thought I had developed asthma. So I researched it & discovered it also helps support your respiratory system. So unbeknownst to me that's another benefit of ginger!

I have been taking this for several years but this is the first time I bought it at the vitamin shop. It is just me in a digestion issue which would make me lightheaded. But taking ginger root seems to solve that problem.

I have trouble swallowing pills, are these pill easy to swallow?

  I don't have trouble swallowing pills so I don't know if I would be much help, but if you take one at a time and use a sports water bottle, when you squeeze the bottle the rush of water will make the pill fly down your throat! I can take multiple pills by using this bottle, in fact that is the only way I take my pills.

  The ginger capsules are slim and easy to swallow, but I have found that any pills that are hard to swallow can easily be swallowed with a bite of banana. Just put the pill in your mouth with the banana and swallow both at once, followed by some water.

  They are meduim sized capsules, I aslso have trouble with swallowing pills but these are okay.
Also, if you like, you can put one in a cup and pour very hot water on one and make a ginger tea. It will get into your system quicker

  Diet would be the most important area to address.
Check out Doug Kaufman's Phase One Diet.
Ginger, along with Oregano Oil, Tumeric, Garlic and Cinnamon would be an excellent start with supplements.

I just received my order of Ginger root. My concern is: On the back where it says what the supplement contains. I see that it says (Zingiber officiate) (root). So is this a generic brand. or the real ginger root?Why does it contain rice flour? I thought I was getting 100% ginger root.Please reply ASAP. so I know if I should start taking it.ThanksDeanna

how big are the capsules? my son is having a hard time swallowing the nature's way ginger but he likes the way the ginger works on his stomach.

  These are a little thinner than the nature's way ginger capsules, so they may be easier to swallow. It's worth a try.

Has the ginger root supplement been tested and verified by an independent lab? I see it is not usp or nsf tested. Is there a way to find out how much gingerols and shogals are in each pill?Thank you

Where internationally recognized standards set forth by the AOAC are not available, we utilize United States Pharmacopeia (USP) methods or methods validated internally by our manufacturers. Finished products are also tested at random by FDA audited, independent third-party laboratories to ensure that label claims are being met. Our manufacturers adhere to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and perform quality control checks throughout the entire manufacturing process. This supplement is not an extract so the exact amount of active components is not measured. This would only be listed in an extract.

I really struggle to swallow the large capsuls, and with upset stomach already, having the big lump slowly moving down my throat is not ideal. Has anyone tried breaking the capsul and pouring the powder in water to drink? Does that have any adverse side effects?
