The primary function of this product is to help the consumer fall asleep and attain restful sleep by enhancing relaxation. While it's not a direct benefit, since the product enhances relaxation, it can be implied that one of the side benefits of this product is that it lowers blood pressure in the majority of consumers who use this product in order to promote relaxation. As someone who uses this product myself, and has elevated blood pressure (just shy of prehypertensive), I find this product to be useful, and it works for me as the manufacturer intends.

  Im not sure... however,in my opinion I would think it would not because its a very calming product. Theonine is an inhibitory amino acid and melatonin is a sleep aid. If you are concerned I would definitely go to Michael Murrays website and consult them. Being an insomniac, I have successfully used this product for many years and have not had any problems but am thankful for it.

  I'm not a doctor so I can't answer this for sure, but I know it didn't raise mine. It makes me sleepy. I've used it virtually every night for three years, and my doctor said that was ok.

  These tablets worked for me. I take 2 when I get into bed and after about 20 minutes I'll feel sleepy and fall asleep. The tablets are tasty and I do not wake up with that groggy feeling. The key is to not stay active - including light reading- past the point where you initially feel tired or else the tablets loose their effect.

  Works really well for me! I usually take one right when I get in bed and I'll have another on the side table in case I wake up during the night. Usually gives me about four hours sleep a tablet. I've been lucky at times and slept about 7 hours without getting up at all. It works well for me and defitepy worth trying!

My husband has PTSD too. He really likes this stuff. I've used it in the past and liked it too, but somehow have gotten to using stuff for my allergies, which puts me to sleep. I guess that's why I quit using it. It's worth a try. They're very tasty and pleasant to chew before bed.

  I use it when I travel and at home. It works for me and I love that it helps me sleep when I am jet lagged. Friends who have sleep apnea have tried it and it does not work for them. I get a much deeper sleep when I chew two before bed.
